The 8th BRICS summit was held from 15 to 16 October 2016 in Goa, India. The BRICS summit coincided in time with Indo-Russian summit. The visit of the Russian Federation President V.V. Putin had traditionally political as well as practical purposes that is proved by impressive set of agreements and contracts had been signed during his official visit.
President of the Russian Federation held series of bilateral meetings with political leaders of India, China and Republic of South Africa. At the end of the Indo-Russian meeting V.V. Putin noted: “During the negotiations with Prime Minister of India that were held in restricted attendance at first and later in extended format that included participation of Chiefs of Ministries and government departments as well as directors of large companies, the current conditions and perspectives of our relations and cooperation in all areas were thoroughly discussed. As a result, joint statement was adopted and impressive set of documents was signed”. One of them is Memorandum of Understanding that was adopted and signed under Indo‑Russian summit between JSC Concern MORINFORMSYSTEM-Agat, JSC Radar MMS and Alexeev’s Hydrofoil Design Bureau on one side and Elcom Pvt. Ltd and government of Andhra Pradesh on another side.
Interaction dynamics of the Russian and Indian companies testifies the presence of necessary capabilities to implement all projects scheduled in the near future. It is evident that an active participation of G.V. Antsev, General Director-Chief Designer of JSC “Concern MORINFORMSYSTEM-Agat”, in promotion of initiatives that are discussed during bilateral negotiations will extend the number of state-of-art production developed by JSC “Concern Agat” within Indian industry and in “Make in India” project. According to D.V. Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation “this program is designated to make India one of the world industrial manufacturer”.
