On March 30-31, 2014, the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) hosted the youth research and practice conference “Powerful Russia’s Future in Advanced Technologies” for the first time, which became the first stage of the all-Russian conference of the same name.
Traditionally, the youth conference “Powerful Russia’s Future in Advanced Technologies” is organized with the assistance of the Saint-Petersburg Education Committee, Radar MMS Scientific and Production Enterprise JSC and the Saint- Petersburg City Palace of Youth Creativity. In 2015, the conference indeed received an all-Russian coverage and was also joined by Primorsky Krai and the Republic of Crimea.
Besides FEFU, which graciously hosted the conference, Izumrud JSC, a subsidiary of Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC, Dalpribor JSC, and many other regional enterprises and organisations also actively contributed to the event.
In Vladivostok, the conference was dedicated to 15 different domains, including modern aero technologies, chemical technologies, engineering 3D modeling and research in the field of abstract sciences. The conference attracted talented schoolchildren, college students, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates. A lot of attention was paid to the applied approach of the research and to the availability of practical application of their results.
The winners of the regional stage will go to Saint-Petersburg in order to participate in the closing part of the conference, which will take place in the Saint- Petersburg City Palace of Youth Creativity and begin with a television space bridge with the Far Eastern Federal University.
