Status, issues and prospects of development of shipborne information and control systems – the annual scientific conference

On April 1-2, 2015, “Status, issues and prospects of shipborne information control systems establishment” annual scientific conference took place at the Science and Methodology Centre for personnel training and retraining of Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC.

Representatives of 24 companies of Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and other Russian regions, as well as Concern’s post-graduate students took part in the meeting. The conference was attended by 87 specialists including 19 Doctors of Philosophy and 31 Candidates of Sciences delivered 57 reports. The conference was divided into four sections reflecting the most significant focus areas of Concern scientific activities: section 1 - “System-related issues of shipborne information and control system development”; section 2 - “Software designed for shipborne information and control systems”; section 3 - “Circuitry, design and technology”; section 4 – “Robotic systems management – advanced component of shipborne information and control systems”.

In conclusion, Deputy Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee D.Eng.Sc. E. Novikov emphasized the importance of such forums for scientists “to put into practice the creative power and potential”.

I-, II- and III-degree Diplomas were awarded to young specialists of Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC, SPE Radar mms JSC, CSRI Kurs JSC, Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation MIREA, CSRI Electropribor JSC, as well as to specialists of SRI Tactical and Strategic Navy Construction Research - Military Education and Research Centre Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Soviet Navy N. Kuznetsov, Institute of Oceanology Russian Academy of Sciences RAN, Concern SPA Avrora JSC, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Krylov State and Research Centre, Andreyev Acoustics Institute JSC. The mentioned specialists possess a wide experience in the manufacture of military equipment samples and successfully share it with young people. Assessment criterion of participants’ projects was their importance in practice and applicability in the development of advanced military equipment samples for the Russian Navy.
